The Danger of Waiting
Most men don't fail because they make bad decisions.
They fail because they never make one.
They wait.
They wait for more clarity.
They wait for more confidence.
They wait for the perfect opportunity.
They wait until they feel ready.
And while they're waiting, life keeps moving.
Years pass.
Opportunities disappear.
Dreams get pushed further down the road.
The truth is that waiting often feels wise.
It feels responsible.
But many times, waiting is simply fear wearing a different name.
Scripture warns us about this:
"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." — Ecclesiastes 11:4
The farmer who waits for perfect conditions never plants.
The man who waits for perfect certainty never acts.
And the man who never acts never becomes who he was created to be.
At some point, every man must decide.
Not because he has all the answers.
But because movement creates clarity.
The men who build great marriages, businesses, ministries, and lives are not the men who waited for perfect conditions.
They are the men who moved forward despite uncertainty.
Forged Truth
Indecision feels safe.
But indecision has a cost.
Every day you delay a necessary decision, you delay the life that decision could create.
Most men are one decision away from a completely different future.
The problem is they keep waiting.
Forged Action
Ask yourself one question:
What decision have I been avoiding?
Maybe it's a conversation.
Maybe it's a business opportunity.
Maybe it's getting serious about your health.
Maybe it's finally pursuing the thing God has been putting on your heart.
Whatever it is, write it down.
Then take one action this week that moves you forward.
Not next month.
Not when you feel ready.
This week.
Close
You don't need more time.
You don't need more information.
You don't need perfect conditions.
You need courage.
