It's Not Too Late to Become a Different Man
I turned 58 recently.
And I'll tell you something.
The older I get, the more I realize how much I still have to learn.
Not just about business or finances.
About myself.
About relationships.
About faith.
About becoming the man God intended me to be.
I think a lot of us men reach a certain age and quietly start believing our best years are behind them.
We look at the decisions we've made, the opportunities we've missed, or the things we wish we'd done differently.
And somewhere along the way, we start accepting that this is simply who we are.
"I'm too old to change."
"I've always been this way."
"That opportunity has passed."
I've heard those words from other men.
And if I'm being truthful, I've had my own moments when I've questioned whether I should still be chasing something bigger myself.
But here's what I believe.
As long as God gives us another day, He gives us another opportunity to grow.
I'm building Conquer-U at 58.
Not because I have everything figured out.
Far from it.
I'm building it because I believe the experiences, successes, failures, and lessons from my life can help other men become better.
And I still have plenty of work to do on myself.
Maybe you're in your 40s, wondering if you made the right career decisions.
Maybe you're in your 50s, realizing you've spent years chasing things that didn't bring the fulfillment you expected.
Maybe you're in your 60s, asking yourself what comes next.
Here's what I want you to understand.
Your age doesn't determine your potential for growth.
Your willingness to change does.
FORGED TRUTH
You are not permanently defined by the man you've been.
Your mistakes don't have to become your identity.
Your past doesn't have to dictate your future.
And the years behind you don't eliminate the purpose still ahead of you.
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!"
— Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV)
God isn't finished working in our lives simply because we've reached a certain age.
But we have to be willing to move forward instead of continually looking backward.
FORGED ACTION (10 Minutes)
Take a few minutes and ask yourself:
What part of my life have I convinced myself is too late to change?
Is it your health?
Your marriage?
Your relationship with God?
Your career?
A dream you've quietly put away?
Now write down one action you can take this week to move forward.
Not a complete transformation.
Just a first step.
Because change doesn't begin when everything falls into place.
It begins when you decide you're not finished growing.
CLOSE
Men, don't spend the second half of your life believing the best of you belongs to the first half.
There's still wisdom to gain.
Relationships to strengthen.
Challenges to overcome.
And people whose lives you haven't impacted yet.
You may not be able to rewrite your past.
But with God's guidance, you can absolutely change the direction of your future.
Quote to Remember
"Your best years aren't determined by your age, but by what you choose to do with the years ahead."
Stay Unbreakable,
Chris
