What You Tolerate Will Grow

Every man has standards.

The problem is that many men don't enforce them.

Instead, they tolerate things they know shouldn't be there.

A few extra pounds.

A little debt.

A bad habit.

A weak routine.

A strained relationship.

A lack of discipline.

At first, it doesn't seem like a big deal.

It's small.

Manageable.

Easy to justify.

But what you tolerate never stays the same.

It grows.

That's the danger.

The things we ignore today become the things we battle tomorrow.

The workout you skip becomes the health problem you didn't see coming.

The difficult conversation you avoid becomes the relationship that's drifting apart.

The spending you excuse becomes the debt that steals your peace.

Most men don't wake up one day completely off course.

They drift there through small compromises repeated over time.

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." — Galatians 6:7

The principle is simple.

Whatever you continually allow, encourage, or ignore eventually produces fruit.

Good or bad.

Every action is a seed.

Every habit is a seed.

Every compromise is a seed.

The question is:

What are you planting?

Forged Truth

Your future is being built by what you tolerate today.

If you tolerate excuses, you'll get more excuses.

If you tolerate weakness, you'll get more weakness.

If you tolerate discipline, growth, and accountability, you'll get more of those too.

Everything grows.

The only question is what you're feeding.

Forged Action

Take inventory this week.

Ask yourself:

What have I been tolerating that I know needs to change?

Pick one thing.

Not five.

One.

Then take immediate action.

Make the call.

Set the boundary.

Start the habit.

End the excuse.

Raise the standard.

Close

The life you want isn't built through major breakthroughs.

It's built through daily standards.

And standards only matter when they're enforced.

What you tolerate will grow.

Choose carefully.

They Won't Remember How Busy You Were
Your Presence Is Your Legacy There comes a point in life when you start realizing just how quickly the years move. The kids grow up. Parents get older. Careers change. Friends move away. People we thought would always be around suddenly aren't. And somewhere along the way, you begin to understand something: Time isn't slowing down for any of us. For years, many of us have been focused on buildi...
What Do You Do When God Isn't Answering?
When God Feels Silent There are seasons when prayer feels different. You pray. You wait. You ask for direction. And nothing seems to happen. No clear answer. No open door. No obvious sign of what comes next. If you've followed Christ long enough, you've probably experienced it. I know I have. Our instinct is to assume silence means something is wrong. Maybe God isn't listening. Maybe we've miss...
Strong Men Don't Have to Carry Everything Alone
The Courage to Ask for Help Men are good at saying: "I've got it." Sometimes we do. Sometimes we don't. But we say it anyway. We're wired to provide. Protect. Solve problems. Carry responsibility. Those qualities can make us strong leaders. But they can also convince us that strength means handling everything alone. It doesn't. There have been seasons in my life when I needed another man's pers...
